Goals

1. While I am happy with the grading categories I used this semester, the student survey indicated to me that students were not particularly conscious of the categories. I did emphasize them a lot early on, but not so much after a while. Perhaps next year I can find a way to make them pay more attention to the categories.

2. Participation this semester was probably the best I have ever had, particularly in my honors classes. I plan on continuing to give weekly participation grades next year. The class blog in honors was also very successful. I am curious whether I can have as much success with my regular classes next year.
